Accrington Stanley Women will return to the Wham Stadium on Sunday 8th October, as they take on Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Reserves in the North West Womens Regional League – Division One North.
It is the second time in less than a month that Stanley Women have played a league fixture at the Wham Stadium, with over 700 supporters attending their 3-1 victory against league leaders Preston North End Womens FC on Sunday 17th September. A match which was also covered live by BBC Radio Lancashire.
Goals from Cara McCormick, Lily Metcalf and Millie Dooley secured the three points for Kristian Perry’s side on that occasion, and Stanley Women will be looking for another bumper crowd to cheer them on as they continue their push towards the top end of the table.
Ahead of the game, which kicks off at 2pm, Accrington Stanley Women are offering free tickets for supporters which must be booked in advance, while there are also both match day and player sponsorship opportunities available. Anyone interested should contact: enquiries@aswomen.org
Hospitality will also be on offer for the game, with families encouraged to come and enjoy a Sunday roast before watching the match.
