“I have just got back from a Rally in Barbados and I’m excited to show people my Skoda rally car I used there, it will be on display at the #AmazingAccrington event. As a special treat we will be choosing one lucky person to take a ride out in it during the demonstration too!
I think it’s great events like this are being organised for the people of Hyndburn, and beyond – I’m sure families and individuals will also be travelling far and wide to join in.”
Miles Parkinson, Leader of Hyndburn Borough Council said:
“The Rally Challenge is part of the #AmazingAccrington ‘town takeover’, we have attractions and stalls all over the town on the day including live demonstrations, static display of supercars and our very first #AmazingAccrington rally challenge treasure trail with a prize draw of £200 on the day.
A huge thanks goes to Hippo Motor Group for coming on-board as the sponsor, it’s because of businesses like them that we can offer large family friendly events and celebrate our community together.”
