Today the Carer’s Link Lancashire head office in Accrington were delighted to receive a generous donation of selection boxes from #AmazingAccrington, courtesy of Studio.
The selection boxes are intended to thank the young carers registered with the service. Carer’s Link Lancashire are providing practical and emotional support to children aged from just 6 who care for a loved one. In total the service now has 11,000 unpaid carers they help and support, and they provide advice and access to services for those caring for others.
Rebecca Hodgson, CEO of Carer’s Link Lancashire, said: “This is a lovely gesture by Studio to remember these young people at Christmas. They provide such a valuable support service to their loved ones, and we will do all we can to brighten their Christmas.”
