Steven Chippendale, Joint Managing Director of Property Shop, commented:
“We are thrilled to be sponsoring Accrington’s first ever Chocolate Festival. We know that events in Accrington are hugely successful and we’re anticipating this one will be the same! As a local business, it’s important to all of us at the Property Shop to be involved with the local community in any way we can be. Supporting events going on in the town is a huge part of this.”
Danielle Smith, Managing Director of Just Imagine North West said:
“Children will be able to join us on the day, every hour, on the hour for Master Chocolatier Workshops. They will join Little Miss Wonka in the Invention room, within the town hall, for interactive storytelling, invention tasting and Master Chocolatier Training to gain their official certificate and a chocolate treat!”
Miles Parkinson, Leader of Hyndburn Borough Council, commented:
“The #AmazingAccrington initiative is really all about engaging with the community, showcasing what the town has to offer, and encouraging a wider audience to come and visit, helping local businesses increase footfall. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to introduce new traders to Accrington. The council are incredibly proud to support events going on in the area.”
The Chocolate Festival will take place on the same day as the Rally Challenge outside Accrington Market Hall with a live demonstration at Accrington and Rossendale College, plus the Soapbox Challenge at the college in the afternoon – all events combined providing entertainment for all the family for the entire day.
