Murray Dawson, Chairman of the #AmazingAccrington initiative said:
“We are getting ready for a fantastic weekend ahead. Made possible with the support of Langtec and Hyndburn borough Council we are expecting thousands of people attending.
I am pleased to say the online response has been fantastic. Our aim is to provide something for the people of Hyndburn to enjoy and also draw in visitors who wouldn’t ordinarily come to the town.
We encourage everyone to come along, bring a blanket, enjoy the day and if there’s anything they need whilst in Accrington, pop into one of the many independent shops or eateries. Support the town and enjoy all the entertainment throughout the day.”
Pop-up Adventure Playground are the official charity for the event and are bringing along all their construction materials for children to enjoy and explore throughout the event.
