#AmazingAccrington has secured 70 brand new deckchairs, for use at upcoming events on the Town Square.
With thanks to North Lancs Training Group and Accrington and Rossendale College- the upcoming 2019 events will now also have additional seating for the community.
Murray Dawson, Chairman of the #AmazingAccrington Initiative said:
“Pledging their support for our initiative, North Lancs Training group have committed to manufacturing 70 deckchairs, something which is not an easy task! These will be predominantly for use at the multiple upcoming #AmazingAccrington events and, in addition, will be shared with community partners who might want to use them for township events.
Accrington and Rossendale College joinery department are also manufacturing four giant deckchairs plus four double seater ones, predominantly for use on the Town Square during events, these will be ideal for photo opportunities.”

“It’s our pleasure to get involved with #AmazingAccrington and support the events. This was a great idea, put forward by Murray, and I’m sure will make a great addition throught the year. One chair done… 69 to go!”
