#AmazingAccrington will welcome actor, singer and TikTok star Junior Andre to headline the 2023 Accrington Christmas Light Switch On, taking place on Thursday 23rd November.

The singer shot to fame in 2022 when his debut single β€˜Slide’ went viral and reached number one in the iTunes pop chart, just hours after being released, beating artists such as Lady Gaga, Eminem and Harry Styles to the top spot.

Now with over one million social media followers, Junior recently released his second single β€˜Only One’, which also hit number one on the iTunes chart, and is Β just one of the songs he will perform at the #AmazingAccrington Christmas Light Switch On in November.

Junior is also a hugely popular figure on TikTok and has amassed 5.6million likes, as well as over 300 million views.

Junior Andre, said: β€œI am so excited to be heading to Accrington to for the 2023 Christmas Light Switch On, and to meet all my fans!

β€œI can’t wait to perform in front of the Accrington crowd, it’s going to be a great night!”

The 2023 Accrington Christmas Light Switch On takes place on Thursday 23rd November from 4pm and will be sponsored by Hyndburn Borough Council, North Lancs Training Group, Sundown Solutions, Prosperity Children’s Services and Financial Affairs.
