Leading local estate agent, Property Shop has solidified its reputation as a community focused organisation by confirming an extended 2-year shirt sponsorship and arena naming rights deal with the town’s historic cricket club.
The partnership between Property Shop and Accrington Cricket Club began in 2018. The relationship has been so positive for both sides, they’ve agreed to extend the deal for another 2 years.
Steven Chippendale from Property Shop made the following statement:
“Accrington Cricket Club means a lot to us and we’re proud to be their main sponsor. This is a historically important club. Its contribution to Accrington, and to English cricket, cannot be understated.
“Generations of people from Accrington have played cricket on this ground and even more have been spectators. It’s an honour for Property Shop to be a part of that history.”
The club certainly does have a long history, approaching 200 years. It was founded in 1846 making it one of the oldest cricket clubs in the Lancashire league.
It’s easy to see why Property Shop has sought to renew this deal. The company is dedicated to supporting the local community however it can. It’s an independent, family run business and their expert staff all live in the local area too. Property Shop prides itself on having its finger on the pulse of the local community. This latest sponsorship deal is evidence of that commitment.
Len Dewhurst, Chairman of Accrington Cricket Club, commented:
“We’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone at Property Shop. They’ve supported us as sponsors, and also as fans. This year has been very challenging for us with the coronavirus restrictions but we’re looking forward to getting back into our whites and a brighter future with Property Shop.”
